Hotel Trundle - Columbia

The warm welcome from Jess and Chris immediately set a positive tone. Early check-in was easy, and the festive lobby added a cheerful touch. The room was impressively spacious with a fine view, complemented by comfortable amenities like lovely soap and lotion. Dining recommendations from the staff were spot on, especially the fish dish we enjoyed nearby. The acoustics in the hallways could use improvement, as sounds from neighboring rooms were noticeable, and the lack of a more robust breakfast option was felt.

Beautiful and new-fashioned rooms, fairly clean bathroom. A lot of goodies for breakfast. Location right by a local restaurant and Columbia, SC and the United States. Amiable and brilliantly friendly hotel employees all round.

The decorations throughout the hotel created a charming and festive atmosphere that I adored. The bed in my King Room was comfortable. The staff were pretty good, offering insightful dining recommendations that led me to a fantastic local restaurant. I appreciated how the room was well-stocked with quality soap and lotion.

While the vibe was great, I found the breakfast options a bit lacking and could have used some more variety.

Honestly, the parking situation is dismal!!! You might as well forget about late-night arrivals unless you want to roam the streets. Plus, I found a dusty ceiling fan, hardly encouraging for cleanliness!!!

I loved our King Room with its big, nice bathroom and retro modern décor. The location was just a block from Main Street. Plus, the welcome drink was a good touch.

Just a reliable pick for exploring town in Columbia, great for the money. The retro-chic vibe in the room was nice. Check out the local sandwich shop nearby.

Charming Space with Excellent Breakfast

The breakfast delivery was spot on, and I loved the yogurt with fresh fruit compote-it was a standout! Plus, the staff were warm and friendly. I would, however, appreciate a bit more variety in room service options.

Our Queen Suite offered a cozy atmosphere with easy online check-in. The breakfast, although could improve, made mornings brighter. Staff were notably responsive. The charming decor added a special touch to the experience.

The Trundle Hotel had this killer local sandwich shop just a hop away, perfect for my culinary cravings! And let me tell you, the decor was a feast for the eyes-so eclectic and perfectly spotlessly clean! The vibe here set the tone for a unique stay.

Only hiccup? The leaky shower was a bit of a nuisance, but with everything so modern and immaculate, I hardly noticed it amidst the hotel's charm.

The hotel was unique and super comfortable. We took the little ones for some festive fun at the Holiday Lights on the River-such a joy!

My kids wished for more kid-friendly breakfast options at the hotel.
